The beginnings
Facor™ image filter was independently developed by the group of scientists from the University of Saint Petersburg, departments of Physics and Mathematics. The medical imaging has been the target application of
this filter since the very beginning of design. Therefore Facor is really good for diagnostic images. Facor's performance was refined in cooperation with experts of Finnish MRI manufacturer Picker Nordstar (this company is a part
of Philips Medical Systems now).
